Im still feelin like shite. Bunged up to the eyeballs...literally. Gawd knows how many lemsips and paracetamol I've taken this week. On a good note though I'm sleeping like a baby but feeling tired at work which isnt good as I'm staring at a pc screen all day and now my eyes are all bloodshot. Everyone thinks its coz Im a down n out inkoholik which I am but I havnt had a drink all week so its ner-ner to them.
It seems we have a thief in the office as well coz some thievin bugger STOLE my chicken and stuffing butty when I went for a wee. It was only half a butty coz I didnt eat the other half so I brought it back down n left it on my desk then forgot about it. We are not allowed to eat at our desks and when Busy Lizzie said she was hungry I very kindly offered my half a butty. It was then that I noticed the butty was nowhere to be seen so I looked in my drawer thinking I had put it there. It wasnt there so I looked in my bag. Again the said butty wasnt there. It was at this point that I thought maybe, I was going insane and had taken too many paracetamols due to my cold. I looked around at the gruesome twosome, Amanda and Sarah but they were too busy on calls to notice the look of distress on my face. I asked Busy Lizzie if she had seen my butty but she looked at like I was a woman possessed!!!! By this time I was getting more frustrated at the lack of responce from my colleagues. Sarah had, by now, turned her fone off and was doing admin work and asked what the problem was. I asked her if she had stolen my butty and she said, in a very stern voice "why the fuk would I steal ya butty". I then looked at Manda and she was trying very hard not to laugh! She swears blind it wasnt her! I then decided that if I took a short walk to wherever and back, it would reappear, so, off I went for a chat with whoever would listen about my chicken and stuffing butty. On my return to my desk, I found a ransom note. Whoever the thief was was now demanding me pay them £50,000 for the return of the butty!!!!
I was devastated as I didnt have 50p let alone £50,000. I even asked all the managers if they knew who the buttynapper was but all they said was "havnt you got work to do"!! BAH HUMBUGS!!! By this time, utter devastation was setting in so much I needed the loo. On my return I noticed Busy Lizzie sit down rather hurriedly. When I got back to my desk, imagine my sheer delight when I saw my butty, on my desk, as if nothing had happened. I still have no idea who nicked my butty. I even put a status profile on facebook asking for the offender/offenders to make themselves known but to no avail!!!! We shall see what tomorrow brings.
Ive managed to book tickets for this years Christmas production at The Octagon Theatre in Bolton. Its usually always a Roald Dahl production and this years is Danny, The Champion of The World. Now, I havnt read the book but both John and Cameron have but I have to admit that I really wanted to go to see The Wizard of Oz at the Lowry Theatre at Salford Quays which is featuring Lorna Luft (who is the daughter of Judy Garland) as the wicked witch. Of course, I was outnumbered as I thought I would be and I'm glad to say that we have tickets for Christmas Eve!!! I thought they would be booked up way in advance so we were lucky enough to get some of the last remaining tickets. Summat to look forward to.
I am also on a quest.....
.....My quest is to buy my outfit for the Christmas party for £20 or under. Im wanting a nice pencil skirt, matching top, preferably strapless, a bolero jacket cum cardy, the type that just lies on ya shoulders and shoes to match. I intend to buy said outfit from charity shops. This has had mixed reaction from friends and family as they know how fussy I am but Im determined to stick to my quest so, this coming saturday while the lads are at the match, I shall scour the charity shops of Farnworth and Bolton in search of my £20 party outfit!

Mindless knife crime
On the 10th October, I wrote about a young woman, from my hometown...Farnworth...who had been stabbed to death in her home. She was the 7th victim of knife crime in the town and the 4th death caused by said crime in the last 18 months. Little did I know that exactly 4 weeks later, I would, once again, write an entry on yet another mindless killing of a young and beautiful girl, stabbed to death in her home and my hometown. Im trying to find reason behind what the hell is happening today...im hitting a brick wall as I'm sure we all are. Amyleigh Barnes was 19 yrs old...an aspiring model and actress on the brink of a wonderful career....how can some uncaring, random, thoughtless, selfish bastard just take her life the way he did? Im trying to bring my children up in this town to be good law abiding citizens. I grew up in Farnworth and Im proud of my roots. Why should my pride be tainted this way??? If i wasnt already feeling pissed off as it is.....this happens and knocks me back down again.
So to the scum who have murdered these 2 beautiful girls and to Andrew Hollands and Keith Platts killers....i hope you fukin rot in hell!!!!!!

And I forgot to add....
......that we heard a very strange sound coming from the living room last night. It sounded like mice running around in the attic but of course, with it coming from downstairs, we knew it wasnt. We always close the living room door when we go to bed coz we dont want Mylo having the run of the house. We called for Mylo who came into the bedroom and went soundly to sleep.
It wasnt until this morning that we found out where the noise had been coming from. Mylo had somehow managed to get into the living room and up onto the sofa. Its a leather sofa and we havnt had it long. The scruffy twat had scratched holy fookin hell out of one of the cushions!!!!
We didnt worry too much as we have cover insurance on both the sofas for pet scratches but we've noticed that if we treat scratches as soon as possible they tend to 'mend' very quickly.
John put some leather care cream on and, touch wood, it seems to be doin the trick!
I'm gonna put a bloody lock on the door so he cant get when we're at work or alseep.

Veggies
Well the bloating has gone down a lot!!! Feel tons better. I didnt buy the detox sachets. £19.99 for a weeks course? I dont think so!!!! Ive been eating mainly salads, veggies, nuts and seeds and kept off ALL carbs. I dont weight myself anymore. It only pisses me off if I dont see a loss so I just go by how my clothes fit me. Its easier doing a short term weight loss like this when I'm off work. If I'm sat at my desk Im forever munching on whatevers goin round...toffees, crisps, choccies and I must drink about 5 cups of coffee every day. Im making a big pot of veg soup everyday when I wake up and having a bowlful every couple of hours then a meal at night with John and Cameron but I just have the salad/veg with chicken or fish.
I went to Asda last night and picked up a skeleton outfit for Cameron to wear to the Halloween Party at the cricket club this friday. Im undecided whether to go as a scary witch or vamp myself!! Piccies shall be posted here on saturday.

Kerry Katona Interview - This Morning - Full Interview - 22/10/08
Didnt watch this but been reading in the papers about this interview! She's on a rocky road this one
Detox
I've been wandering all weekend like an oversized, bloated tortoise with what seems like a sack of spuds lying very high and heavy in my already rotund tummy! Of course its coz of lack of exercise and very shit diet Ive been consuming lately so one can blame oneself! So today when I cooked the dinner, I make treble portions of veggies and gave the majority to myself. And for the next few weeks Im gonna lay off the carbs and go back to healthier eating again. I feel very sluggish and lethargic and in need of a total detoxifying. Im gonna pop to Boots and buy some detox sachets as I cant afford the £75 it will cost to have my colon cleansed! Call me odd, but I would if I could afford to, have colonic irrigation.
Ive watched 2 cracking films this weekend and one very weird one. The 2 good ones were Mirrors and 100 Feet. I wont tell the stories but if anyone reads this blog (which I doubt seeing as I rarely, if ever get any comments) you must take time to watch both of them. The 3rd film was titled Henry Poole is Here! I was gonna watch Little Dorrit tonight but it continues on thursday and clashes with Silent Witness and we cant miss that seeing as its the best thing on telly at the moment.
I'm off work this week and seeing as the weather forecast isnt looking too good, I doubt we'll be venturing far and moneys a bit tight. My tummies making some very strange noises as I type. Must be the veggies.

This week....
......Has been pretty boring really. I have handed the application to St James just on time for todays deadline. With it being a grant maintained school, you have to fill the online application via the LEA website as well as a seperate one direct to said school. So now the wait begins!!!!!
Havnt been out at all this week. My knees are playing up again as well with lack of exercise. Im popping glusosamine and cod liver oil like there's no tomorrow. Osteoparosis runs in the family so I'm taking no risks.
I was gonna go out into the wilderness that is the back garden when I got in from work but took one look at it n thought fook that. Its easier to maintain now that we got rid of the lawn but its that easy that we never do it n now that we need to before the frost settles in its too bleedin cold. I could get Johns dad over to tidy it for us but he'll pull his face and call us lazy so Im gonna try n do a bit next week when I'm off. Its half term and I always take these weeks off. Its a lot easier than finding and paying for decent childcare.
I am now addicted to egg hunting in Facebook. I've found 21 limited edition eggs in the 5 days Ive been hunting. Why I have such an addictive personality I'll never know, mind you, my sister Chelle is the same. So, im gonna sit ere n sup my rum n cokes, hunt for eggs, go scavenger hunting and make a nice red house on myminilife!!!

Borin
Didn't do much at all last week. Just work, sleep, work. sleep. Long hours from now until crimbo. With the economy being as it is, peeps are jumping on the bandwaggon and playing the 'credit crunch card'. "I cant pay my bill coz of the credit crunch!!" My answer is always..."we wernt in recession when you placed your order madam...18 months ago"!!!
Other than that....mums settled nicely at home. Social services have fitted the house with a second handrail on the stairwell as well as a seat in the shower. That'll make life a bit easier for her. They're not gonna fit a stairlift (didnt thik they would) so dad's looking round for a good offer.
Weathers shit so we havnt been walking at all!! I have started my xmas shopping tho! I bought a nice tin of Fox's biscuits from Sainsburys the other day....they were half price..£4.99...fuk knows who we gonna give um to tho. They looked really nice

Weekend
Nice weekend really. Saturday, John and I took Mylo (and ourselves) for a VERY long walk up Winter Hill. If anyone reading this knows the North West, I'm sure you know Winter Hill. Its where the TV mast is. Managed to find a nice secluded parking spot up a narrow road we've never been up before. The route was very muddy as we started walking, and I realised I shoulda put my walking boots on. It took us about 40 minutes to reach the mast. It was very quiet too!! Usually there are lots of walkers up there. I was glad coz when we got up there, I wanted a wee...so squatted in some nice soft heather....when a girls gotta go, she's gotta go!!!!! I then realised I was being watched...by a herd of sheep. They looked really menacing as well, just stood there, chewing, watchin me.....I pulled my kex up, shouted 'MINT SAUCE' and fooked off sharpish.
The view from the top was amazing. Ya can see all of the north west right up to Morcambe Bay to the right and North Wales to the left. We walked back down slowly and then drove to Rivington where we had a brew and some flapjack in the Great House Barn. The barn is a mega meeting place for bikers and the place was heaving. It started spitting (ironic moment ere..Im watching Peter Kay...everybody in) so we headed back home. Didnt do much today. Had a lie in, got up and had a bacon n egg toasty and read the papers while John did the weekly shop. We were meant to be going on another walk but I realised I really had to catch up on the housework.
I hope this week is better than last! It was a bit of a shit week really

Posh bastards

I had mi hair done today in a very posh salon! First time I've been and I'll defo be going back. The hairwashing chair wasnt a chair but a bleedin lounger that massaged my aching limbs as the young girl massaged mi head!!!! I nearly fell asleep! I've booked to go back at end of november for some caramel highlights. Just got back and now I'm gonna sit ere n get pleasantly pissed
MURDER!!
A poor girl was murdered today in my hometown. She will be the 7th person who has been a victim of a knife weilding thug in Bolton in the last 18 months. Of those 7 victims, 4 have died.
All of them by knife crime. The government say there isnt a change in the amount of deaths by thugs stabbings! Jacqui Smith should take a trip to Bolton to see the impact on the recent murder and then ask the peope of Bolton if they can sleep safe in thier beds.

Down Memory Lane
I bit my lip and attended this evenings open night at St James's. It was very surreal to say the least. Especially walking into my very 1st form room. I was 11 yrs old again. The place was full to bursting with parents and year 6 pupils. I know I shouldn't comment but I will....on the sheer volume of ethnic minority visitors. I wonder how many 'points' they'll be awarded or have they got the big cheque books out? It is, after all, a voluntary aided school!!!! Nuff said on that matter .....
.....I saw a few of my old teachers. Didn't introduce myself as there was too many people around.
Cameron seemed to enjoy the visit but said he didn't really think it was any better to the other schools we've visited...3 in all. The other 2 were church schools but they were catholic.
I shall hand in the application to James and wait until March 2nd to see how we do. Ironic really....2nd March will be Camerons 11th birthday

WHY DO I BOTHER?
Last night I went to see the vicar to discuss Camerons application to St James's next year. He informed me that he would countersign the application but not for full church attendance as we havnt been EVERY sunday this year. BLARGHHHHHHHH!!!
I asked about previous years and the fact that Cameron went to beavers and cubs but, apparently, they dont count at all, so, we have lost 12 points there towards his 'entitlement' to a place at said school!!! Makes my blood boil. Its like playing a silly lottery with your kids schooling.
There is an open evening tonight at St James's and even though I really can't be arsed going to that now, Cameron will be upset if I don't. Im not a happy bunny this week

Autumn
Today I got up early to arrange Camerons gift box for the annual Harvest festival at our local church of St George. Looking out the kitchen window at about 7-45am, I saw a lil robin perching on the fence and thought of how fast this year really has gone by. Then I noticed all the different shades of the falling leaves and remembered why Autumn is my fave time of the year.
Then I remembered I had to fill in the application for Cameron to go to St James's High School next year so I could take it to church for the vicar to countersign.
We set off for church earlier than usual and it was really nice to see all the kiddies with thier harvest boxes all decorated nicely. We usually have a fry up on a sunday but with the looming recession we just had a nice bowl of credit crunch flakes and then I read the paper while John popped over to Morrisons for the weekly shop. I HATE shopping whereas John dosn't so I just leave him to it.
John and Cameron are sat watching Bolton V West Ham. Hope it's not raining when it's finished coz I wanna go for a nice long walk before I get the tea ready....gammon hot-pot today with jacket spuds!!! Yum Yum

Thanks to Donna :-)
Well bugger me sideways. I forgot all about this blog but, when my friend Donna had to leave her usual blogspot on AOFEKINELL, I decided to folow hers and had to sign in to my old one. Took me a while to remember which password I'd used when I registered. I'll never change. Mind like a sieve.
Last time I blogged, we'd just come back from an Easter break in the Lakes.
We've since had a fortnight in the Canaries. Loved every minute of it.
On a more sadder side to this year, my mother was rushed into intensive care 4 weeks
ago with phenumonia. We very nearly lost her but for the sheer devotion and 100% care
and attention she recieved from the staff at The Royal Bolton Hospital on the I.C.U. team and
high dependancy unit, she's still with us and making tremendous progress. She's now back onto a normal ward, eating by herself and back to her grumpy self!
GRANNY GRUMPS Cameron calls her but shhhhhhhhhhh!!!
I don't really know why I stopped blogging. I do enjoy it, especially reading back over ya blog
months after you've posted.

Back online
19.45pm
Havn't blogged in over 2 weeks as the pc conked out on us just before we went to the Lakes!
The damn thing just wouldnt boot up but after a lot of time on the fone to the warranty dept and nearly thumpin the jumped up little twat in Comet who wouldn't accept that we WERE right and he WAS wrong!! (angelic smile).
Wont go into the boring details coz I'll be here ages.
But we did have a cracking time in the Lakes. I even managed to climb up Catbells....the small fell overlooking Derwent Water in Keswick. My back started playing up halfway to the top but after resting halfway up, I'm glad we carried on coz the view from the top was amazing.
We did most of the lakes in just 4 days and must have walked about 10 miles each day.
The site was absolutely gorgeous. I'll post some piccies later on when I've added them to the drivers.
I'm gonna try n add this blog to my Facebook profile. There's an application to link to this page so I'll give that a whirl as well.

Last of the Summer Wine
7pm
Now don't be fooled by the heading! I've not jumped on the wagon just yet.
I was sat at home again bored out of my tiny head when John told me he
wasn't working today and asked if I fancied a drive out to cure the
deep throat thrombosis that was settling into ever fibre of my being!!!!!!
Of course I said yes so, off we set, map in hand.
While he drove I scoured the area for somewhere to go n decided we'd pop
up to Holmfirth in Yaaaaarkshire where Last of the Summer Wine was filmed.
It's quite a drive from 'Bowton' and took us just over one hour to get there.
I'd heard of a theatre in Holmfirth called 'CragRats' which has a brasserie
attached to it and thankfully it was signposted in the middle of this quaint and
rather unusual hamlet town. We had our lunch there before we decided to park
up outside Nora Batty's house. I got out the car and wrinkled my tights around my
ankles to feel like one of the locals!
I have to say though, I was a bit dissapointed that the place is now a guest house.
It also has a massive sign outside saying 'Summer Wine Experience' and really
could do with a lick of paint. We had a lovely walk around the tiny town but the
streets are all uphill and located in such a way that it made it hard for me to walk
up and see the gorgeous old houses dotted along the hillside.
It started spitting a little (its spitting...everybody in) so we went for a brew in
Sids Cafe which was one of the focal points of the series where Compo and crew
would meet daily. We actually decided that at some point, we would go back to
Holmfirth and probably stay there for a couple of nights as it's a really lovely place
with lots to do if the weathers fine and my backs better...........
......speaking of which
I've got my 1st appointment with the physio on April 3rd. Looking forward to
be being prodded, poked n pulled in every direction.
As for Rosemary Conley!!!!
I've put 'ANOTHER' 2lbs on!!!! Cant blame anyone but myself obviously but
then again all my shoes are too big now but who cares if I've lost weight off my feet....
I cant wear a nice pair of Jimmy Choos on my glutius maximus or jelly belly!!

Boring
12.45pm
Still off work with my bad back. I have to say, I couldnt
NOT work on a regular basis......the boredom is killing me.
I can only do so much housework/cooking/walking the dog etc etc
before it becomes another painful & tedious task.
Mind you....I do have next week to look forward to I suppose.
5 days in the Lake District with the family and Mylo.....CANT
F***IN WAIT.
I'm off now to prepare tonights tea....steamed salmon with sweet ginger
served with oven roasted vegetable cous cous.
If it wasnt for the net, they'd be having pot noodle on toast!!!!

2lbs on
11.55pm
Not done much these past few days.
Went to my slimming class tonight n hey-ho...put on 2 lbs!!! :-(.
Not too surprising really seeing as I've been poorly ill n done
FUK ALL for about 3 weeks!!!!!
I can easily got those 2 off n more besides this week if I put
my mind to it.
Still having bad spasms in my back and the exercises are working
a little but I was stood doing the dishes earlier today n it went again.
I had to very slowly ease myself back into the front room by holding
onto everything in sight n grunting. Mylo was looking at me like I
was a woman possessed.
Lets hope everythings better by the time we go to the Lakes

Rename me SickNote!!!!
21.45pm
Forgot to add on my last post.
Went back to see the quack today coz mi backs still playin up.
She's placed me on the sick for another fortnight!!!!
Thats gonna take me right up until the 1st week of the
Easter holidays which we have booked off anyway for our
jaunt to the Lake District!
Not too sure if we're gonna beable to walk up all the fells we
were intending to but I'm gonna give um a bloody good go.
Shes took me off the Diazys coz they were just totally zonking me out.
Still no referal to the physio yet but Dr Mercer gave me some good
exercises to do at home and I'm gonna try n go swimming a few times
a week to ease the pain.
Now as some of ya may know, I am a very deep sleeper at the best of times
and I have VERY VIVID dreams but lately, they've been unreal.
Wont go into much detail but I could write a short book I'm sure.
It takes me ages to come round too, so if someone tries to wake me, I come
out with some mad shit.
John woke me today after I'd dozed on the sofa n asked me why I was
asleep with my specs on and I woke up n said......
"SO I CAN SEE MY DREAMS BETTER"

Camerons Birthday n Mums Day
21.00pm
Yesterday was, of course, mothers day but it was also Camerons 10th Birthday!
Was a bit odd for me waking up as he spent the night with his dad, seeing as
they were going to the Bolton V Liverpool match and it was an early kick-off.
Bolton lost 3-1 but Cameron wasn't too upset with it being his special day.
John and I bought him a R4 cartridge for his Nintendo DS. This is a special
gadget that you attach to the DS and your PC at the same time and from there
you can download up to '1000' games on to your DS......A lot cheaper than paying
up to £30 a time for each individual game.
He also got a few more gitfs from his dads side and my relatives but he mostly got money, totalling
£125!!! He says he's gonna save up for a Nintendo WII!!!
As for mothers day, Cameron got me a lovely magnolia tree for the back garden
and Wayne gave me money to spend as I wish. Later on we all went for a Chinese Buffet.
One of those 'eat all ya can get ups'.
At the end of the meal the staff dimmed all the lights, cranked the music up n played
HAPPY BIRTHDAY and presented him with a lil birthday cake! His face was a picture!
We got home and on the doorstep was Bev with her girls...Meggy n Shannon with more
pressies. We had more birthday cake....a choccy fudge one. Took some pics
but Ive not uploaded um yet.
All in all a nice day

Penelope Pisspot
23.15pmThey tried to make me go to rehab I said No No NOOOOOOOOO!
Just thought I'd share my cartoon friend with you all!
Meet Penelope Pisspot!
Shes my recent addition on my facebook page and I'm totally addicted
to this application!
Its not just about dressin ya cartoon friend but ya can join races
to win power points and more style factor.
Ya do this when you buy food for your pantry n run races.
Every cartoon friend reacts differently to each food so it's up
the individual to find out which food they react with.
Its very addictive if ya like ya facebooks apps!!!
Gran Canaria

We booked our holiday to Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria yesterday and as you can see from the pics above, the view from the rooms are amazing. We got a really good deal by not booking a package holiday but by booking the flights, hotel, transfers and insurance all seperatly and we saved about £350 by booking this way.
I've been to Puerto Rico twice before and I absolutely adore the place. Infact, Cameron was concieved there!!!!
We had a bit of a laugh while booking tho. Vanessa at the travel agents was having problems with her pc and stuff wouldn't transfer from page to page properly. She was telling us the baggage allowance has been lowered so we opted for excess baggage (at a price I hasten to add) but the info went into the occupancy page n came up as Mr & Mrs Excess Baggage!!!
Me n John were rolling laughing n said how appropriate but the poor girl was a lovely shade of crimson.

Paltalk
1.30 am

Had a good night on Paltalk!
For those of you who dont know what this is......
Paltalk are chatrooms that you have to download
onto ur pc!
Bit better than ur normal chatrooms coz ya actually
'chat' with other room members. Of course ya need
a mic if ya wanna put ya voice in the room.
Each room hosts quizzes every night on any given
topic.
The quizzes can also be based on music intros,
this is why I luv um!!!
You can download paltalk by clickin the link below

1st post
10.25pm
Well here goes with my 1st blog on Debs Diary!
Not been feeling too well of late. Been off work for nearly 2 weeks
with horrendous pains in my lower back.
The docs took 2 water samples and each one tested
positive so I was poppin pills left right n centre.
If I was at a rave I'd be fookin lovin it!!!
But it never went away so off we popped again to said docs
who has now decided the pain is caused by muscular spasms
and has put me on DIAZAPAM!!! of all things.
As if I'm not loony enough for fux ache.
Im totally zonked out most of the time but hey-ho,
they seem to be doin the trick.
I wonder what the feeling would be like if I get absolutely wrecked
on brandy n spliffs.
I was gonan go to bed but Donna (Cherub) very kindly
reminded me of BlogSpot so I thought....why the hell not!
Johns watchin John Rambo....(dont push me)
I'd sooner push the ugly twat off the Grand Canyon.
Sly Stallone of course...not my husband.
Gonna mess about a bit see what else ya can do on ere.
