......that we heard a very strange sound coming from the living room last night. It sounded like mice running around in the attic but of course, with it coming from downstairs, we knew it wasnt. We always close the living room door when we go to bed coz we dont want Mylo having the run of the house. We called for Mylo who came into the bedroom and went soundly to sleep.
It wasnt until this morning that we found out where the noise had been coming from. Mylo had somehow managed to get into the living room and up onto the sofa. Its a leather sofa and we havnt had it long. The scruffy twat had scratched holy fookin hell out of one of the cushions!!!!
We didnt worry too much as we have cover insurance on both the sofas for pet scratches but we've noticed that if we treat scratches as soon as possible they tend to 'mend' very quickly.
John put some leather care cream on and, touch wood, it seems to be doin the trick!
I'm gonna put a bloody lock on the door so he cant get when we're at work or alseep.

Veggies
Well the bloating has gone down a lot!!! Feel tons better. I didnt buy the detox sachets. £19.99 for a weeks course? I dont think so!!!! Ive been eating mainly salads, veggies, nuts and seeds and kept off ALL carbs. I dont weight myself anymore. It only pisses me off if I dont see a loss so I just go by how my clothes fit me. Its easier doing a short term weight loss like this when I'm off work. If I'm sat at my desk Im forever munching on whatevers goin round...toffees, crisps, choccies and I must drink about 5 cups of coffee every day. Im making a big pot of veg soup everyday when I wake up and having a bowlful every couple of hours then a meal at night with John and Cameron but I just have the salad/veg with chicken or fish.
I went to Asda last night and picked up a skeleton outfit for Cameron to wear to the Halloween Party at the cricket club this friday. Im undecided whether to go as a scary witch or vamp myself!! Piccies shall be posted here on saturday.

Kerry Katona Interview - This Morning - Full Interview - 22/10/08
Didnt watch this but been reading in the papers about this interview! She's on a rocky road this one
Detox
I've been wandering all weekend like an oversized, bloated tortoise with what seems like a sack of spuds lying very high and heavy in my already rotund tummy! Of course its coz of lack of exercise and very shit diet Ive been consuming lately so one can blame oneself! So today when I cooked the dinner, I make treble portions of veggies and gave the majority to myself. And for the next few weeks Im gonna lay off the carbs and go back to healthier eating again. I feel very sluggish and lethargic and in need of a total detoxifying. Im gonna pop to Boots and buy some detox sachets as I cant afford the £75 it will cost to have my colon cleansed! Call me odd, but I would if I could afford to, have colonic irrigation.
Ive watched 2 cracking films this weekend and one very weird one. The 2 good ones were Mirrors and 100 Feet. I wont tell the stories but if anyone reads this blog (which I doubt seeing as I rarely, if ever get any comments) you must take time to watch both of them. The 3rd film was titled Henry Poole is Here! I was gonna watch Little Dorrit tonight but it continues on thursday and clashes with Silent Witness and we cant miss that seeing as its the best thing on telly at the moment.
I'm off work this week and seeing as the weather forecast isnt looking too good, I doubt we'll be venturing far and moneys a bit tight. My tummies making some very strange noises as I type. Must be the veggies.

This week....
......Has been pretty boring really. I have handed the application to St James just on time for todays deadline. With it being a grant maintained school, you have to fill the online application via the LEA website as well as a seperate one direct to said school. So now the wait begins!!!!!
Havnt been out at all this week. My knees are playing up again as well with lack of exercise. Im popping glusosamine and cod liver oil like there's no tomorrow. Osteoparosis runs in the family so I'm taking no risks.
I was gonna go out into the wilderness that is the back garden when I got in from work but took one look at it n thought fook that. Its easier to maintain now that we got rid of the lawn but its that easy that we never do it n now that we need to before the frost settles in its too bleedin cold. I could get Johns dad over to tidy it for us but he'll pull his face and call us lazy so Im gonna try n do a bit next week when I'm off. Its half term and I always take these weeks off. Its a lot easier than finding and paying for decent childcare.
I am now addicted to egg hunting in Facebook. I've found 21 limited edition eggs in the 5 days Ive been hunting. Why I have such an addictive personality I'll never know, mind you, my sister Chelle is the same. So, im gonna sit ere n sup my rum n cokes, hunt for eggs, go scavenger hunting and make a nice red house on myminilife!!!

Borin
Didn't do much at all last week. Just work, sleep, work. sleep. Long hours from now until crimbo. With the economy being as it is, peeps are jumping on the bandwaggon and playing the 'credit crunch card'. "I cant pay my bill coz of the credit crunch!!" My answer is always..."we wernt in recession when you placed your order madam...18 months ago"!!!
Other than that....mums settled nicely at home. Social services have fitted the house with a second handrail on the stairwell as well as a seat in the shower. That'll make life a bit easier for her. They're not gonna fit a stairlift (didnt thik they would) so dad's looking round for a good offer.
Weathers shit so we havnt been walking at all!! I have started my xmas shopping tho! I bought a nice tin of Fox's biscuits from Sainsburys the other day....they were half price..£4.99...fuk knows who we gonna give um to tho. They looked really nice

Weekend
Nice weekend really. Saturday, John and I took Mylo (and ourselves) for a VERY long walk up Winter Hill. If anyone reading this knows the North West, I'm sure you know Winter Hill. Its where the TV mast is. Managed to find a nice secluded parking spot up a narrow road we've never been up before. The route was very muddy as we started walking, and I realised I shoulda put my walking boots on. It took us about 40 minutes to reach the mast. It was very quiet too!! Usually there are lots of walkers up there. I was glad coz when we got up there, I wanted a wee...so squatted in some nice soft heather....when a girls gotta go, she's gotta go!!!!! I then realised I was being watched...by a herd of sheep. They looked really menacing as well, just stood there, chewing, watchin me.....I pulled my kex up, shouted 'MINT SAUCE' and fooked off sharpish.
The view from the top was amazing. Ya can see all of the north west right up to Morcambe Bay to the right and North Wales to the left. We walked back down slowly and then drove to Rivington where we had a brew and some flapjack in the Great House Barn. The barn is a mega meeting place for bikers and the place was heaving. It started spitting (ironic moment ere..Im watching Peter Kay...everybody in) so we headed back home. Didnt do much today. Had a lie in, got up and had a bacon n egg toasty and read the papers while John did the weekly shop. We were meant to be going on another walk but I realised I really had to catch up on the housework.
I hope this week is better than last! It was a bit of a shit week really

Posh bastards

I had mi hair done today in a very posh salon! First time I've been and I'll defo be going back. The hairwashing chair wasnt a chair but a bleedin lounger that massaged my aching limbs as the young girl massaged mi head!!!! I nearly fell asleep! I've booked to go back at end of november for some caramel highlights. Just got back and now I'm gonna sit ere n get pleasantly pissed
MURDER!!
A poor girl was murdered today in my hometown. She will be the 7th person who has been a victim of a knife weilding thug in Bolton in the last 18 months. Of those 7 victims, 4 have died.
All of them by knife crime. The government say there isnt a change in the amount of deaths by thugs stabbings! Jacqui Smith should take a trip to Bolton to see the impact on the recent murder and then ask the peope of Bolton if they can sleep safe in thier beds.

Down Memory Lane
I bit my lip and attended this evenings open night at St James's. It was very surreal to say the least. Especially walking into my very 1st form room. I was 11 yrs old again. The place was full to bursting with parents and year 6 pupils. I know I shouldn't comment but I will....on the sheer volume of ethnic minority visitors. I wonder how many 'points' they'll be awarded or have they got the big cheque books out? It is, after all, a voluntary aided school!!!! Nuff said on that matter .....
.....I saw a few of my old teachers. Didn't introduce myself as there was too many people around.
Cameron seemed to enjoy the visit but said he didn't really think it was any better to the other schools we've visited...3 in all. The other 2 were church schools but they were catholic.
I shall hand in the application to James and wait until March 2nd to see how we do. Ironic really....2nd March will be Camerons 11th birthday

WHY DO I BOTHER?
Last night I went to see the vicar to discuss Camerons application to St James's next year. He informed me that he would countersign the application but not for full church attendance as we havnt been EVERY sunday this year. BLARGHHHHHHHH!!!
I asked about previous years and the fact that Cameron went to beavers and cubs but, apparently, they dont count at all, so, we have lost 12 points there towards his 'entitlement' to a place at said school!!! Makes my blood boil. Its like playing a silly lottery with your kids schooling.
There is an open evening tonight at St James's and even though I really can't be arsed going to that now, Cameron will be upset if I don't. Im not a happy bunny this week

Autumn
Today I got up early to arrange Camerons gift box for the annual Harvest festival at our local church of St George. Looking out the kitchen window at about 7-45am, I saw a lil robin perching on the fence and thought of how fast this year really has gone by. Then I noticed all the different shades of the falling leaves and remembered why Autumn is my fave time of the year.
Then I remembered I had to fill in the application for Cameron to go to St James's High School next year so I could take it to church for the vicar to countersign.
We set off for church earlier than usual and it was really nice to see all the kiddies with thier harvest boxes all decorated nicely. We usually have a fry up on a sunday but with the looming recession we just had a nice bowl of credit crunch flakes and then I read the paper while John popped over to Morrisons for the weekly shop. I HATE shopping whereas John dosn't so I just leave him to it.
John and Cameron are sat watching Bolton V West Ham. Hope it's not raining when it's finished coz I wanna go for a nice long walk before I get the tea ready....gammon hot-pot today with jacket spuds!!! Yum Yum

Thanks to Donna :-)
Well bugger me sideways. I forgot all about this blog but, when my friend Donna had to leave her usual blogspot on AOFEKINELL, I decided to folow hers and had to sign in to my old one. Took me a while to remember which password I'd used when I registered. I'll never change. Mind like a sieve.
Last time I blogged, we'd just come back from an Easter break in the Lakes.
We've since had a fortnight in the Canaries. Loved every minute of it.
On a more sadder side to this year, my mother was rushed into intensive care 4 weeks
ago with phenumonia. We very nearly lost her but for the sheer devotion and 100% care
and attention she recieved from the staff at The Royal Bolton Hospital on the I.C.U. team and
high dependancy unit, she's still with us and making tremendous progress. She's now back onto a normal ward, eating by herself and back to her grumpy self!
GRANNY GRUMPS Cameron calls her but shhhhhhhhhhh!!!
I don't really know why I stopped blogging. I do enjoy it, especially reading back over ya blog
